It took almost two and a half years, but here's finally another meeting added! It's the Circuit de l'Est, the world's first multistage air race, organized by the Paris newspaper "Le Matin". It started and finished in Paris and passed five other towns in north-east France during eleven days.

35 planes were entered, but in the end only eight started and only two finished: Blériot pilots Alfred Leblanc, who won the 100,000 francs prize, and Émile Aubrun.
It took very long time to finish these pages. There was lots of material to go through, and as usual a lot of unreliable information to filter. The main article contains almost 10,000 words and is the longest on this site so far. There are around 100 images and maps. You will find the pages here.
I hope the next article will not take two years. It will be about the Nantes meeting.
